And the end of the year comes so fast..

So i just checked on my last post, which was astoundingly more than 6 months ago.

Sometimes i think the world is just zipping by and i'm just sitting staring dazed out the window. But then to say that I've been idle for the last few month wouldn't be fair either. Life just has a way of tugging you away from certain things that you love to shove you back into reality.

As always, my masters is still in its ever evolving process. Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel seems to pierce through the darkness, but it's evaded me more than once, so can't be too sure if i see it next time.

Atop that, filial duties will always and forever clash with anything and everything that i have planned out. Having two homes is taxing physically, financially and emotionally. It's amazing that i'm finally feeling my age. Ahahhah.

On the bright side i have finally come clean about my uh 'namja'. Which has been kind of a big burden on my shoulders. It takes a lot to keep something under wraps apparently. Your memory has to be spot on, which i can safely say, mine has failed me many a time -_-. This all seems so trivial though seeing that 2014 has seen so many of my school friends tie the knot, or get engaged, or expecting new additions to the family. ^_~ below are just to name a few not in chronological order because i'm just lazy like that

Moving on... the other day we went to the zoo. I know, it's so primary school. BUT, guys.. the zoo is freaking awesome. Like i didn't remember it being so awesome when i went the last time. Aaaaaaaannnnnddd i got to see PANDAS! It is so surreal to see them swagger and eat their veggies i am not kidding. It's like you expect them to go all kungfu panda suddenly. But cute overload, i was practically squealing the whole time. (horrid pictures i know but i forgot the bring the camera).

Of course like every year, I celebrated my birthday at the lab. This time with several other close birthday girls..Having your birhtday close to the end of the years has its cons. I mean in just 3 months I'll have to say that i'm 27 already. Yikes..

Putri and I also attended out first international conference. Which unfortunately has amounted to a few headaches and heartaches, but i guess the both of us will just have to take that with a pinch of salt. My poster looks like dirt in the picture because it wasn't printed according to its original color specs. sobs.

And.. yesterday I went to the Big Bad Wolf sale 2014, on the very last day of their promotions. Luckily the hall was not packed. I was hoping to score me some fantasy, medieval, historic fiction, but I was too lazy to scour every single book at hand. There was however  literature section where i scored these classic babies (pardon the pixelation)

I thought they were pretty awesome to keep. I mean when i have children, i want them to know these classics Ecewah,

Welpz thats about it i guess. No so much to story. My life is currently void of heavy drama, and i am intending to keep it that way. In March i'll be heading off to Sabah for a bit and tentatively vietnam sometime in the future. So heads up for some pics. My rebleshot has been hanging in my room since forever without much playtime. -___-

Yeah, I heard..

I spent two hours yesterday standing in line to fulfill my responsibility to my country. 

Yup, Malaysian General Election 2013. 

There were stories of nothing else in the past month. And to be perfectly honest I am not a huge follower of political schemes (sue me). Yes as a voting citizen it is my responsibility to find information on who and what i'm voting for. But for the life of me, I've seen too many people have bad blood among each other just because of which party they follow.

It doesn't help that every time i turn on the TV or log in to some social media, there's endless slandering of one another. I have friends and family who are in both houses. I hear this from this person, and that from this person, until i'm not even certain if my head is processing truths, half truths or whole lies. Which can explain my trembling yesterday when the SPR officer was kindly giving me my 1 finger manicure.

So now the results are out. Semuanya ketentuan tuhan. There is hikmah in everything. Weather this is the intended party suitable to rule the nation, or weather this is a test that the nation has to endure, wallahua'lam. There is weakness on each side. If anyone does not believe that then there's something seriously wrong. 

What's even more surprising is that some people have voiced their concerns to other nations stating that our country's election is corrupted and dirty. I'm not sure what that's suppose to accomplish. If it's our nation, then it's our responsibility to handle this problem no? Why complicate matters even more? 

I really hope that we can take a step back and reflect. There is much to be improved, no doubt about it.  But our neighbors are still our neighbors and our friends are still the people we know them to be. Lets keep it together huh?

All this animosity is seriously ruining my day.

And yes, waking up feeling like a zombie with eyebags down to your knees is definitely a clear symptom of manga fever. Because once you're hooked, sleep seems trivial and unnecessary. However when you have a full day crash course ISO training the next day, sleep becomes mandatory. But did i listen? NOOO >_<

Just as expected

It's has only been 3 days since my pembantu rumah left on holiday to Surabaya for a little over a month.

Just as expected the first person to go awol on everyone was my mom -_-v

Even after the whole house was cleaned,

after breakfast lunch & dinner was served,

after the laundry was settled,

after the garbage was taken out,

after 9 cats were taken care after,

all of which were handled in her absence..

She still managed to feel like the whole house was falling apart. Needless to say my stress levels are definitely rising.

Eat Pray LOVE

Despite that fact the i returned home after the last of my classes in order to study for the upcoming finals, i found myself stuck to the computer screen watching eat pray love till 3 in the morning yesterday. ^^v

I was actually reading the book, courtesy of my mak long. But my sis somehow persuaded me to watch the movie while i was still half way through the pray part.


Personally i thought the movie was great despite my common bias to books. Pretty much followed the story to at least where i had read. Plus Julia Roberts is one of my favorite actresses ever who seem to stay beautiful no matter what role she plays. There were also some nice eye candy in the form of David and Giovani XDD. Italian men really have astonishing features 0_o lol!


My favorite part of the movie however was obviously the journey to Bali for Love ^^ so call me a hopeless romantic. I'm the type that thinks almost anything is sweet. Seriously, but the character portrayed in this story somehow.. i dunno.. made me think, where can i find one of those? Shameless. I know. But really. A girl can wish no? ^_~

I just finished my Secret Garden Marathon last night!

I must say it's now probably on my top 5 favorite dramas if not at the top XD. Hyunbin is totally aweome in here. That acentric, rich, clueless namjah with the pure heart lol! Mianh, still haven't recovered from post drama crush ^^v. But then again i've always loved hyunbin so i guess that doesn't count. Anyways it totally made me want to get married afterwards XDDD. That's some serious case of side effects i would say.. heheh

The OST is also pretty impressive. My favorite is obviously 'That Man' sung by my one and only. Topping the charts this week by the way ^^ If the man doesn't win any awards for his outstanding skills then there's probably something really wrong with the system. >_<

Beggining of the end..

Monday will mark the beggining of my last semester.

I can't even begin to describe how wierd that feels. This semester will be the closing chapter of my undergraduate life. That is insya'Allah if i don't extend any semesters (which i seriously don't intend to. ><)

My FYP is going ok i guess, but i'm still not sure to where the time planning is. I'll just have to be extra hard working for the next 4 months. I think i've walked the most in the last two weeks. Going from one lab to the other. Walking to the faculty since the bus schedule is out of whack. But it isn't so bad. Walking alone is kinda relaxing. Especially when you have so many things to think about.

I just finished a pretty good novel called the Interpretation of murder. Finally got my mom to buy me one from the bookstore. Read the bulk of it in one night. I have that unhealthy habit. It leaves my eyes all puffy the next morning. My supervisor even asked if i was unwell. huhuh..But you know a good book when you can't seem to put it down. Again one of my favorite genres : Historical Fiction. I wonder if that makes me sound really old or really boring ^_^v But now i no longer have a book to read.. haish.. i should read slower. At least i can savour the moment longer.

In light of buying a new DSLR Cannon EOS D500 TI Rebel (long name -_-v) I've decided to do a picture entry today.. nyehehehe

I went to my first showcase ever today yeay!!! ^^ Though waiting outside from 12 till 2 in the hot afternoon sun did chip away at my patience a bit.. I was really disappointed with the concert management. They were REALLY unhelpful and the concert started an hour late! I could only see my boys for an hour T-T. Though imma remember that moment forever ><

Couldn't take too many pictures in the stadium since obviously DSLR's weren't permitted, but we still got to sneak ours through. The guards were watching like hawks though so we kinda gave up the idea. Resulting to no pics of my jaeness on stage T-T

 We even gave a simple seonmul ^^ For all 5. There wasn't exactly a booth for fangifts which in my opinion was kinda mengong since its abovius fans would like to show their love from gifts. But the urusetia with inch thick makeup and personal portable fan blowing in her hair just went "I don't know anything bout that" GRrrrr i kinda wanted to spill the contents of my water bottle on her right then. Thank god we found some VIP seat cassies to give our seonmul. Hopefully it'll reach them ^^

Backtracking to close to the end of raya we went for a full family trip to rumah pak ndak in Bentung. We ended up going to a waterfall nearby (forgot what it was called). Really nice place though. And the above picture is the result of all anak cucu wan except for 1. Take a wild guess.. Xp
