The act of choosing between two things that is inevitably impossible. The realization that there can never be a win-win situation, or even a win-loose.
Everybody looses.
We all end up feeling emotionally drained and physically exhausted. And of course, there's nothing you can do about it, but to suck it up and deal with it.
